My birth doula support is designed to guide your whole experience, throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period.
Prenatal Support & Home Visits
Multiple prenatal home visits where we get to know each other, talk through your birth preferences, prepare for labor, explore comfort measures, discuss partner support, and create a flexible plan that helps you feel more confident and prepared.
Ongoing Text & Phone Support
Support between visits for questions, updates, appointment processing, resources, and reassurance as your birth approaches. You’ll have someone you can reach out to when things feel exciting, uncertain, or overwhelming.
Continuous Labor Support
In-person support during labor and birth, including emotional reassurance, comfort measures, position changes, counterpressure, TENS unit support, breathing support, advocacy, and guidance for your partner.
Partner Support
Your partner is an important part of your birth experience. I help partners feel included, confident, and supported without expecting them to remember everything in the moment.
Immediate Postpartum Support (Golden Hour)
After birth, I stay with you as you settle in, support golden hour, help with early feeding when needed, offer reassurance, and make sure your family feels cared for before I leave.
Postpartum Visit
Postpartum visit to process your birth, check in on recovery, answer questions, support feeding and newborn care, and help you feel more grounded in the early days.
Backup Doula Support
Because birth is unpredictable, trusted backup doula support is available in the rare event that I am unable to attend your birth.
Birth Doula Pricing & Insurance
Birth Doula Services:
$2,000–$3,500
Professional birth doula support in Seattle, Bellevue, Snohomish County, King County, and surrounding Washington communities ranges from $2,000 to $3,500, depending on your individual needs and the level of support you choose. Every birth is unique, and I’ll help you select the package that best fits your pregnancy, birth goals, and family.
Payment Schedule
A $500 non-refundable retainer reserves your estimated due date and secures your on-call birth support. The remaining balance is due by 37 weeks of pregnancy. Flexible payment plans are available to help make professional doula care more accessible.
Insurance, Medicaid & HSA/FSA
I am an approved Washington State Apple Health (Medicaid) Birth Doula Provider and can bill eligible birth doula services directly for qualifying clients.
Many families also receive reimbursement through commercial insurance plans, employer maternity benefits, and third-party doula benefit programs. I accept FSA and HSA funds when eligible. Because coverage varies by insurance provider, I recommend contacting your insurance company to verify your birth doula benefits and reimbursement options.
